Brand History
Purlés is a family business, born from passion and experience passed down from generation to generation.
The history of Purlés began in the 1970s. The initiator, creator and principal founder of the brand – Urszula Patrzała, then a young skincare enthusiast inspired by the manager of the renowned Harvey Nichols Beauty Salon in London's Knightsbridge – decided to devote her life to professional skincare. She completed a one-year cosmetology course in London. Her desire to explore the world and delve deeper into the secrets of skincare led her to Australia. She attended Sydney College of Natural Therapy, where she expanded her knowledge of cosmetology and natural medicine, combining theoretical foundations with practical skills.
She soon fulfilled her dream, opening Urszula's Beauty Therapy – a beauty clinic combined with a day spa, located in a prestigious Sydney neighbourhood. The venue quickly earned a reputation and a loyal clientele, becoming a recognised beauty destination in the region. Urszula's success and professionalism led leading French cosmetic companies to invite her to collaborate. After nearly 20 years spent in Australia, she returned to Europe as a representative and ambassador of French professional cosmetic brands, introducing them to thousands of salons, beauty clinics and spas.
40 years of experience gained in salons around the world became the foundation for the creation of an exceptional brand – Purlés. All formulations were developed in French laboratories, where the majority of our cosmetics are still produced to this day.
